Book Signing at Saint Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church

On Sunday, April 3, 2016 Saint Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church in Greenlawn, NY had a book signing for local authors. It was a lovely day!  I am pictured here with my good friend Gus Constantine who wrote the book "Escaping Cyprus" and Lena Kariyiannis who wrote the book "Λέλα Καριγιαννις".

Greek American Institute Bronx, NY

I had so much fun yesterday reading at The Greek American Institute in the Bronx.  I read both books and discussed what kind of books I enjoyed growing up.  I also gave each student play dough and we sang Platho Koulourakia .  The Yiayia in the story makes koulourakia.  My mother made koulourakia and each student got one.  We also did a project on things we are afraid of and why we shouldn't be afraid of anything.  Thank you GAI!!
