Interactive wall mural

We purchased an interactive wall mural.  Best investment ever.  The children touch and feel items and decorate the mural.  The verbal and tactile mix helps the students remember words.

Thanksgiving projects using little hands

Ta Morakia class made γαλοπούλα using assorted fall colors and our students hands.  Circle cut out for body, 2 skinny legs,  an orange triangular nose and two google eyes!



Ο Λύκος the wolf nursery rhyme

Ta Kouklakia class incorporated laminated clothing parts and a laminated wolf λύκο to  learn different pieces of clothing while singing the nursery rhyme.

Author visit from Anna Prokos

Anna Prokos visited our church on Saturday, November 16 and read 3 of her books:  The Lucky Cake, The Lucky Egg, and Baboula Baby.   The children loved all three stories.  Her books were available fr purchase and she signed them too!  Thank you to Anna Prokos for a wonderful afternoon.

Celebration of The Archangels!

November 8 celebrates the Archangels in the Greek Orthodox faith.  We celebrated by going to church an my mother in law made an artoclasia in prayer for the health of our family.  We then had our family over for a celebration. We had Angeliki, Michaels and Gabriel who celebrated!  Χρόνια Πολλα , Xronia Polla, Many Years!

The family went to our cousin George's pizza place Bella Vista last night.  The next thing I knew George had boys making their own pies.  They loved it!  Thanks Theo!
