In the News!!

Niko Notarides, owner and editor of the Omogenia Newspaper, visited our Greek-American pre-school at St. Paraskevi in Greenlawn, NY. He is writing an article on our school and we performed To Naftaki (The Little Sailor) for him. He was very impressed! Look for the article to be published in June 2010.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar - Mia Peinasmeni Kampia

Using the Greek version of Eric Carle's timeless classic, we taught the children counting, sequencing, and the stages of a butterfly's life. They had fun coloring and creating 3-D models of a caterpillar, chrysallis and butterfly that then went on display!
