Our parish priest, Father Dimitri Moraitis, blessed our home today. He brought his cross, holy water and vestments. My sons loved it. Father explained the whole process. He blessed the agiasmo. Then he placed basil leaves in the agiasmo. We sang our prayers and followed along with Father. He went through every room and dipped the leaves in the agiasmo and sprinkled it around. Even the basement and garage! He would sprinkle our faces every so often. The boys thought it was the greatest!
